​From SCAD graduate to freelance editor, Akira B. is a Georgia based editor and writer with a focus in comics but with the flexibility of prose. With experience working with publishers like EEP, 5Rings Studios, and multiple others, they've accumulated over five years of editorial experience. As of 2024, their writing has earned them an Ignatz and Ringo nomination.
They hope to spread stories across the globe sharing a message that's not only thoughtful but one relatable to marginalized identities in an effort to push that representation does in fact matter. And when they aren't editing or writing, they're running WildStar Press, an indie publisher.
